| Fact 1 : DID Betong was formed in Januari 2003 and at that time was still merged with DID Sri Aman. |
| Fact 2 : March 2003, The Department operated with 8 officers in its temporary office at Betong Bazaar during its initial stage. |
| Fact 3 : January 2007, The Department was split from DID Sri Aman and moved to its permanent office at Sarawak State Complex. |
