| BACKGROUND The Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration Branch was established in Department of Irrigation and Drainage to provide quantity surveying expertise services and to perform and update tender and contract administration in accordance with the current Government's policy in view of the big & complex projects carried out. The Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration Branch also provides advisory services to the upper management in DID Sarawak, various section in Headquarters, Divisions & Projects under Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Rural and Land Development in matters related to tender and contract administration. |
OBJECTIVES Ensure the efficient management of tender and contract administration enabling projects to be implemented fairly, efficient and fulfilling public accountability. Ensure government projects handled by DID Sarawak are implemented with the most economic cost and value for money
