Function

i) Provide hydrological data and information quality and adequate within 2 weeks

ii) Provide feedback and technical review of hydrology within 2 weeks.

iii) Providing physical and technical assistance within 2 weeks.

iv) To ensure the collection of quality data.

v) Provide flood forecasting major rivers using telemetric system

Please be informed that the telephone lines at the Headquarters of the Drainage and Irrigation Department Sarawak are expected to experience disruptions from 14 January 2026 until 5 February 2026. This disruption is due to the relocation of the Quantity Surveying & Contract Management Division, Human Resources & Administration Division, and Finance Division, which are located on the 10th Floor of Wisma Saberkas, to the Transit Office on the 2nd Floor of the Binamas Building, to facilitate office renovation works.
