| Date of Completion | Completed 1970 |
| Project Area | |
| Project Component | The main components of the scheme consist of the following :- 1. Provision of drainage and flood control facilities for the area alleviate flooding. 2. Provision of water level control structures for better water managment in paddy area. 3. Provision of farm roads for transportation. 4. A site office building and living accomodation for staff involved in the supervision, operation and maintenance of the scheme. Type of Structures 1. Perimeter bund and drain 2. Cut-Off drain 3. Internal drain in both coconut and paddy area 4. Belian access bridge 5. 4' X 4' Drainage control gate 6. 4' diameter reinforced concrete culvert 7. 4' X 4' Tidal control gate 8. 5' X 5' Tidal control gate |
| NOTE : | Errosion of the banks of Batang Sadong is continuously destroying portion of perimeter bund in the scheme. As a results, construction of retreat bund along errosion effected area have to be implemented to safeguard the remaining area of the scheme. This has led to a significant reduction in its scheme area. |
