This unit is entrusted with duties and responsibilities that fall into the category of general office administration.They are such as file management, office communication, incoming and outgoind mails and other documents.
To ensure all financial and accounting activities adhere to rules and procedures laid out in Financial Procedure Act 1957, Treasury Instructions, Treasury Circulars, Service Circulars and Supplementary Regulations.
To monitor daily Financial and Accounting activities and to maintain proper accounting records and preparing financial reports for management.
To provide quality services in financial & accounting matters.
NOTICE OF TELEPHONE SERVICE INTERRUPTION AT THE HEADQUARTERS DRAINAGE AND IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT SARAWAK
Please be informed that the telephone lines at the Headquarters of the Drainage and Irrigation Department Sarawak are expected to experience disruptions from 14 January 2026 until 5 February 2026. This disruption is due to the relocation of the Quantity Surveying & Contract Management Division, Human Resources & Administration Division, and Finance Division, which are located on the 10th Floor of Wisma Saberkas, to the Transit Office on the 2nd Floor of the Binamas Building, to facilitate office renovation works.
